We're having a contest! A colouring contest! Here's how it will work:

Participants will have 4-5 images to chose from, and can enter once per image. This means you can colour all four (or five) images, but you can't colour the same image twice, and you can't colour your own lineart. More on that in a bit.

Submissions will be judged and voted on by other community members.

I hear you asking, "But, Zed. What are we going to be colouring?"

We do need lineart to be donated. Since this is for a contest, submissions need to be black and white, minimal jpeg artifacts, and at least 900 pixels on the widest edge. Backgrounds are strongly encouraged, but not necessary.

To get it started, I'll throw one of mine in.

If you want to submit artwork for the contest, just send in a note, as usual.

Here's the bit everyone's been waiting for. Prizes!

One lucky winner will receive a Genius Pensketch 6x8 Graphics tablet. It belongs to me, and I've had it for about two or three years. The rubber grip has some minor damage, but it doesn't effect functionality. It also works on Vista.

Webspace is also up for grabs, with your own unique domain and FTP access.

A License for Pain Tool SAI will also be included. And Growly has offered a conbadge to one winner!

There will also be other varied prizes available. To donate prizes, or money for prizes, please send a note, or contact Lineart4Colour[at]Gmail[dot]com

The contest will open as soon as we get enough lineart submissions. I'll post an official journal there, as well. :D

Website is launched and live! This is basically the bridge between the different branches of the project, as of right now FurAffinity and deviantART. No images (other than the thumbnails) are actually stored on this server. When you click on a thumbnail in the galleries, you'll go directly to the website where it's hosted (dA or FA at this point).

This site will be updated as often as it needs to be, whether to reflect new affiliates, new submissions, or just to make general announcements about the project.
